Fashionable Women are Creative, Classy, and Bold "Power Dressers"
By viryabo
A fashionable woman knows what it means to be called a 'power dresser'. As a power dresser, creativity plays an important role because there is no rule of thumb, neither are there books or tutorials to teach one what it takes to be naturally stylish.
Fashionable women of style have everything in their closet ranging from classic pieces to contemporary and trendy fashionable clothing and accessories. They are sometimes naturally inclined to have a mix of items that allow them have a fabulous collection of apparel and fashion accessories that they seem to combine with ease.
Women of style always look (and think) beyond the fashion malls and boutiques that offer the same cloned styles of fashionable clothing because they have this thing in them where they always have to stand out in the crowd, not caring if people find their dress sense unusual, unacceptable or outlandish.
That is what's called being bold and daring. Fabulous dressers don’t dress up the way everyone else does, and that is what a unique fashion style demands.
The main qualities of fashionable women is found in creativity and confidence, so for those of you who admire them but don’t have the courage to dress like them, you may find that for the fact that you admire women that are fashionable, it probably means you have or appreciate chic style and have a latent dress sense that has great potentials.
If only you can be that bold! But you can as it's not too difficult to learn how to combine/mix styles of different eras, like a combination of classic styles and contemporary fashion that can help create your own special fashion signature. This is a mostly what chic fashionable women do.
How to be Fashionable and 'Wear It Well'
These are a few examples of ways you can "wear it well" and be different from the crowd.
- A great pair of jeans that really flatter your body, worn with classic vintage t-shirts or turtle neck tops
- Funky western-inspired tops and flirty ruffled sweaters also pair well with a pair of dark wash jeans.
- Eclectic evening wears are so stylish. Just forget for a change that little black dress that everybody wears and try brightly-coloured vintage or retro clothing or chic haute couture fashion.
- Pair casual and comfortable clothing with designer shoes and bags. It’s a good idea to upgrade your wardrobe by investing in a few good quality ankle boots, evening vintage purses and vintage inspired shoes.
- Mix luxury fabrics such as cashmere and silk with everyday wear denim. They add an air of elegance and sophistication to your casual look. You can invest in a number of softly feminine 1950s body fitting cashmere tops, cotton and silk blouses.
- Opt for the crisp silhouette of a fitted skirt instead of a longer look that flows and wear this with dark tights and boots or chunky shoes.
Whatever fashionable women choose to wear, it's always flattering and never boring. They can have many different looks, many different hair styles (try wigs too), and many different clothes. They keep updating their wardrobe, and that’s why their style always seems current and chic.
If your hairstyle is boring and you are tired of its cut, it’s good to get a wig. There are great wigs out there that can transform you into a Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn if you want to look classy. And with wigs, a woman has the added advantage of changing her hairstyle as often as she wishes.
Women of fashion always ensure that their clothes, accessories, hair and make-up compliment each other. There is no sense in wearing a vintage hairstyle with a pair of torn jeans. Fashionable women never dress like that.
So whether you are considering classic vintage couture, retro style, hip or dazzling styles, it’s good to remember that fashionable women create their own fashion signature and is always the best fashion path to tow.

Thank you DoodleLyn for your nice comments.
I will do just that. I know the mature woman can be fashionable too, and even with flaws, it is highly achievable once we know what to conceal and what to accentuate. Expect a write up on that shortly.
Cheers and GodBless.
Awesome....looking forward to it. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this hub. Well written. My daughter is definitely a fashionable woman. She's so creative in what she pairs together and the accessories she enhances with.
Maybe you can write something geared toward the more "mature" (older) woman who wants to be fashionable, but has flaws to hide and doesn't want to look like she's trying to look younger. Great work.
